1. General Overview

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) set forth the standards and guidelines for enrollment, participation, and conduct at the Academy of the Golden Gate (“Academy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By enrolling in our programs, attending our events, or using our platforms, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

If you do not accept these Terms, you should not register or use our services.

2. Eligibility

To enroll in Academy programs, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age or have consent from a legal guardian.
  • Meet any specific course prerequisites as stated on our website or course materials.
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

3. Enrollment and Course Policies

  • Enrollment is confirmed only after full or partial payment (where applicable) and confirmation via email.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any course or event. In such cases, a full refund or credit will be offered.
  • Course access (in-person or online) is personal and non-transferable.

4. Attendance and Conduct

Students are expected to:

  • Attend all scheduled sessions (unless excused).
  • Maintain respectful and professional behavior toward instructors, staff, and fellow students.
  • Refrain from any disruptive, offensive, or illegal conduct.

Violation of these expectations may result in dismissal without a refund.

5. Cancellations and refunds

  • Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the course start date are eligible for a full refund, unless otherwise noted.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the course has begun.

6. Intellectual Property

All materials, including but not limited to slides, videos, written content, and digital assets provided during the courses, are the intellectual property of the Academy. These materials may not be copied, shared, or reused without express written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Academy is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from your participation in our programs or use of our materials.

You agree to participate at your own risk and hold harmless the Academy, its staff, instructors, and partners from any claims arising out of your engagement with our Services.

8. Photography and Media Release

By attending any Academy event or class, you grant permission to be photographed or recorded for promotional and educational purposes, unless you explicitly opt out in writing before the event.

9. Force Majeur

The Academy shall not be held liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or government restrictions.

It is your responsibility to check periodically for changes. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. All disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Fulton County, Atlanta, Georgia.
